Why is SharePoint having issues with saving column choices (in Edit Grid view) and other view changes since migrating to Microsoft 365? When will this be fixed?

When updating choice options to existing list / columns the options did not show up in edit in grid view for anyone on the team. Some have been showing up the next day. Made some changes Friday but still not showing up today. Option choices are available if you go into an actual item and edit it but not in "edit grid view." Also, some changes to views are not saving. When will this be fixed?

If other users also experience this phenomenon, we kindly recommended you can raise a service request in Microsoft 365 admin center, which the support there has the related permission and resource to help you check from the backend

I tried another list - an old one that we didn't use. It had 3 or 4 records. I tried adding a new choice to one of the columns and it worked. So for us, it appears to be one list. I am trying to find someone else in our company that uses a SharePoint list as often as we do to see if they are having a similar issue.

Some users in the forums did experience this as well, but we didn't experience anything similar in our tests. So we'd like to confirm if this phenomenon is happening in a particular List as well?

If this is also happening with your other Lists, it means that this issue may be randomly appearing in different tenants, so we need to investigate the server status from the background. If that's the case, we kindly recommended you can raise a service request in Microsoft 365 admin center, which the support there has the related permission and resource to help you check from the backend

• Does this happen in multiple Lists? One list - I haven't tried others but will test it out.
• If you're using Teams directly on the web, will you also experience this phenomenon? Do not use teams.
• Is this happening in both Teams and SharePoint Lists? Don't use teams - so only aware of lists.
