Deleted notes from One note

Why does it not delete the notes in one note if you select more than one or if you don't open the note and then click on the delete option in the note

    May I know if you tried deleting the notes on OneNote page or you went through OneDrive?

    If your reply is Yes, kindly try the following option that works for me.

    I have tried deleting notes on OneNote page but could not delete multiple notes.

    So I went to OneDrive, Clicked on My files. Then I opened Notebooks folder. Selected the notes I wanted to delete and clicked delete.

    I recommend you try deleting your notes through OneDrive.
