Support Lockout

I have Outlook 365 Student. When I updated Outlook it signed me out of my recently made account and won't relink to my password to my new outlook account. Signing in on the web sends me in circles. Attempts to reset the password result in the form being sent back to my backup email as "Unfortunately, our automated system has determined that the information you provided was not sufficient for us to validate your account ownership." Over and over and over again. I get nowhere.

I tried to get support for office 365 but it won't let me get support because "subscription is not active." But it IS active on my student account, and my student account won't let me get support it says "login with a different account to get support."

I am STUCK IN CIRCLES please help, my outlook account is only 4 days old.

Trying to reset the password keeps failing and now it says "You've reached the limit for account recovery requests We've received too many requests to recover this account today. (We have a limit to help keep your account safe.) Please try again in 24 hours." It probably fails because its asking for email headers I sent, but I haven't sent any emails yet it's a new account. I can describe my mailbox inbox but there is no outbox because the one email got caught in a loop due to the new outlook corrupting my old outlook account.

    Dear JedediahJenk,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to assist you.

Based on your description, you're having trouble accessing your new Outlook account. It sounds like you've already tried resetting your password and have encountered some issues with the account recovery process.

To better understand and investigate your issue, I may need some more detailed information from your side so that I can narrow down the issue in right way:

    1. What is the type of your new account which is blocked? Is it a Microsoft365 business/education account or personal account (whichis ended with outlook.com or hotmail.com) or some other 3rd party pop/imap account?
    2. You selected category "for education", I would like to confirm whether you have an education account which is ended with @xxx.edu? Do you have any problem with the education account?

I look forward to your next update for further analysis. Thank you very much for your cooperation.

Thanks for your precious time. Have a nice day.

    Sincerely,

    Sherry | Microsoft Community Moderator
