Edwin B., thank you for your reply.

Glad that you have downgraded your Microsoft Office to the 2019 version. However, as I am currently using MS Office 2021 on Windows 11, I am unsure if users who are running the 2021 version on Windows 10 are experiencing any difficulties when attempting to paste copied data from a webpage.

If multiple users are experiencing the same issue, you can submit feedback through the Microsoft Office apps. (Help > feedback)

If you have any questions, please let me know and I will be happy to help you further.

    Best regards,

    Gunasekar N

Thanks for the response, after applying similar action using Windows 10 with MS Office 2021 to different computer units, similar result happened, excel stuck. We tried downgrading the MS Office to 2019 and all works fine in several computers even in Windows 11. Hope this helps the developer in fixing bug or upgrading latest version of MSOffice. Thanks.

Hello Edwin B! I'm Gunasekar and I'd be happy to help you with your question.

I understand that you are experiencing issues with the Excel Program running on your Windows 10 Operating system. You could try the following suggestions below and check if it helps.

    1. Run the Program in safe mode.

When you run Excel in safe mode, it bypasses functionality and settings such as alternative startup location, changed toolbars, startup folders used by Excel, Excel add-ins, and most COM add-ins. While add-ins can enhance your experience, they can occasionally interfere, or conflict with Excel.

To open Word in safe mode, Click Windows Key + R altogether, Type excel /safe Click enter.

If the issue appears on safe mode, repair the Office applications.

    1. Repair Office applications.

    A. Click Start and select Settings. B. Click Apps and Features. C. Find Microsoft Office 365 in the lists, and click three dots next to it. D. select Modify. E. Perform an Online repair.

When it is done, Restart your PC.

If the issue persists, perform the troubleshooting methods discussed in the article below.
