I got a text from 58419 saying "Microsoft: Someone else might have accessed ny**o@h**.com. Recover at https://aka.ms/alcs"

What is weird about it, is I don't have a hotmail account, and when i looked the browser up (didn't click on it just incase) it took me directly too my MS account, so I have no idea what to do

    Hello Anayah G

Hi, I'm Karl and will be happy to help you today.

First, just so there is no misunderstanding, this is a public user-to-user support forum. We're users helping other users. We do not work for Microsoft and have no access to any user account so there is nothing we can do or check from within the forum.

#1 - That is definitely a legitimate MS link in the message

#2 - If you don't have a @hotmail email address, it means that someone has entered your email address on their account as a recovery address in error. Just ignore the message in that case if everything else looks normal on your account

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask, we're here to help you further if needed.
