Loop getting stuck when trying to change document sensitivity classification labels

For every page I access that doesn't have a document label set, I'm getting a message that "Your organization requires you to label this document before editing." When I select a label classification, it either 1) spins and doesn't save changes or allow me to proceed further on the page; or 2) Provides a message that "The sensitivity label cannot be changed right now. Try again later."

Me and my team is having the same issue and it's extremely disruptive to our productivity. This has been happening on and off the last month. And we're all seeing the issue across our devices (Windows/Mac) and different browsers. None of the steps listed above solve the problem. This has to be a Loop Workspace service or app issue.

We have been experiencing the same issue where the message "Trying to reconnect... We've put the document into read-only mode to make sure you don't lose important changes" keeps appearing. We have raised this issue with our IT department, but unfortunately, they have not been able to resolve it so far.

We would appreciate any guidance or solutions you can provide to help us address this persistent problem.

I am on the web-based MS Loop primarily on a work MS account. Labels have become enabled for us this week on our apps. 2 issues I've noticed:

    1. I cannot set labeling on the iOS version. I am given the options for the 3 labels my company uses, but once I click on the appropriate classification label, the screen just locks up and I have to restart the app.
    2. In the web-based MS Loop, my labels are not retained once they are set. It randomly resets some of them and I cannot identify the pattern. It has not been all of them, but sometimes it is parent pages, sometimes it is their sub-pages. I note #1 above bc if I do not set it in the MS Loop web-based app, I cannot access it on my iPhone. But if the labels applied in the MS Loop web-based app are not retained, then I get into a doom loop of not having access to my Loop notes on the app.

When will this app be out of Public Preview?

    Hello Karen,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

It saddens me to hear that you're experiencing issues with changing document sensitivity classification labels in Loop. Before we proceed any further, we would like to set your proper expectation that Microsoft Loop is still in public preview and users may experience known and new issues. During this preview, we will need your feedback to help us improve your experience.

    Let me ask:

    • May I know how do you access Microsoft loop? is it on web or application?
    • May I know if the account is for Work/School use? or Personal (Hotmail/Outlook.com) use?

This issue could be caused by a few different things, but I can suggest a few troubleshooting steps to try:

    1. Check your internet connection: Make sure that you have a stable internet connection and that you're not experiencing any connectivity issues. A poor internet connection can cause Loop to become unresponsive.
    2. Clear your browser cache: Clearing your browser cache can help to resolve issues with Loop. To do this, go to your browser settings and clear your cache and cookies.
    3. Try a different browser: If you're still experiencing issues, try using a different browser to see if the issue persists. Sometimes, browser compatibility issues can cause problems with Loop.
    4. If none of the above steps resolve the issue, please provide your experience as feedback to our developers. They'd love to hear from you about what's working well, what's not, and any ideas for improvements, including possible new features and functions. Your contribution will help us improve the user experience for you and all users around the world.

During this preview we want to hear from you to help improve your experience – so send us your feedback in the app to help us shape the journey.
