Cannot save new file

Hi there,

I got sent 3 sheet to work on and edit. I downloaded them to my computer and worked on them. Now at this moment. I tried to save those to send back but it won’t let me. I tried to import to csv but it didn’t let me do that either. Can someone explain what I did wrong?

    Hi

    It all depends on how you downloaded the files. For example, you can't save changes to a file that is attached to an email message. That's the #1 reason, so perhaps this applies to you, as well.

    To save the file you must use the Menu Bar and choose File > Save As and choose a different location for the modified workbook.

    There are other possibilities such as you are using an unlicensed product, but you didn't say what version of Excel you have or what license type you're using.

    Hello there

    The thing is that the Save as is not there available to choose. It is gray and even the hot keys don’t work. I’m wondering if you might have anything else that could fix this.

    As you can see in the picture. All saving options are different color of gray so they aren’t available.
