cannot resize Microsoft 365 launch window to screen size

On launching Microsoft 365 the window extends beyond the width of my screen.

The cursor turns into a double headed arrow on the border, but it won't drag the window to resize it.

I've tried repairing Microsoft 365 to no avail.

Is there any way of fixing this?

Hello GordonB-P, thanks for coming into forums. I'm Myk, an Independent Advisor and I'll be more than happy to help you.

Kindly check the Display settings of the Computer to see if it's set to the Recommended settings. You may follow the steps below:

    1. Open PC Settings
    2. Click on System > Display
    3. Under Scale and layout, set the "Change the size of text, apps, and other items" to the recommended percentage, change the "Display resolution" to recommended as well.
    4. Close and re-open the Microsoft 365 window

**If you're using more than 1 monitor, make sure that the 2nd monitor also have the recommended display settings.

If you require any further information, then please don’t hesitate to get in contact. I will be more than happy to assist you further.

    Kind Regards, Myk

    Hi,

Try to press the Windows key and Up arrow key on the keyboard simultaneously to see if the Microsoft 365 window will display fully.

    Kind regards, Myk

    Hi GordonB-P,

Are you using a multiple monitor setup? Also, does the taskbar show up when it's in window mode?

    Thanks, and kind regards, Myk
