Hi all,

I have received this error code:

Request Id: 00eb9afc-f981-4d5e-8034-2c33e7af8100

Message: AADSTS500200: User account '-----------@---------' is a personal Microsoft account. Personal Microsoft accounts are not supported for this application unless explicitly invited to an organization. Try signing out and signing back in with an organizational account.

The problem I have is that the onenote app on my laptop has partially updated to my personal online onedrive, but the newest page will not sync. Although I have forced sync on it and it says it is synced, but still does not show up online. and then it says this above error.

I used to be connected to a few different organisations, but have now deleted all of those sign-ins, and don't have an organisation account anymore. Why won't it accept a personal email? I didn't think my onenote app on my laptop was connected to an organisation account. Especially since I some of it is updated to my personal online onenote.

Any assistance would be great!

Thank you

    Hi Nicola_216,

It seems that the Microsoft OneNote app that you are using is not designed for personal Microsoft accounts.

If you are using Windows, then go to Microsoft Store and download the OneNote app from there and then try to login on the app with your personal Microsoft account.

Let us know how that goes and if you have any further questions. -Amit
