SharePoint Framework - gulp serve unknown error

Hello, I wanted to create a SharePoint Online extension and have set up my environment according to these instructions: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/dev/spfx/set-up-your-development-environment

The versions of the individual components fit together. I have taken them from this table: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/dev/spfx/compatibility#spfx-development-environment-compatibility

When I want to start the application with gulp serve I get the following error: "'serve' errored after 24 s [09:15:24] Error: UNKNOWN: unknown error, watch at FSWatcher._handle.onchange (node:internal/fs/watchers:207:21) at FSEvent.callbackTrampoline (node:internal/async_hooks:128:17) About to exit with code: 1 Process terminated before summary could be written, possible error in async code not continuing! Trying to exit with exit code 1

I can't find a solution to this problem.

Can anyone help me?

    Dear PhilippTD,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft community. We are delighted to offer our assistance.

We are afraid that in order to address this issue, it may be necessary to investigate the environment on your end. As forum support, we do not have sufficient permissions and resources to perform an investigation directly. Therefore, we sincerely recommend that you contact your Microsoft 365 administrator and follow the steps outlined in this article to create a support ticket and contact Online Support.

The support team at Online Support has higher permissions than us and can remotely examine the situation on your end, gather more resources, and assist you with troubleshooting. This will be a more efficient way to address your concerns.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation! Have a great day.

    Sincerely,

    Sean | Microsoft Community Moderator
