I need help on the following for the before and after of revised text in PowerPoint.

  1. quickly identify the differences
  2. quickly document the comparison.

As-Is, PowerPoint Compare output does not show before and after of text changed in revised document. I'm looking to Review Compare for PowerPoint Documents in Word to supplement PowerPoint's to mark up word(s).

I prefer not to supplement output of Compare output by hand due to following:

  1. delay which is unacceptable for urgent task.
  2. additional labor of
    1. eyeballing differing text within textbox identified by Compare result.
    2. come up with my own way to communicate to co-workers differences.
  3. prefer to use Messages such as Word shown below which unfortunately requires coding not as part of my role.

My Solution is

  1. Export Create PDF Document (rather than default "Convert To Adobe PDF "
  2. use Adobe Compare

"Convert To Adobe PDF " requires setting change to "Smaller File Size" for risk of false positives.

    Dear panes-rubic,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

As per your description, it seems that you want to have similar Compare experience in PowerPoint as it is in Word to have the revisions marks.

If the understanding above is right, as per the search and test on our side, we're afraid that for now there's no out of box way to achieve this in PowerPoint currently.

Personally, I completely agree with you, this is indeed a good addition to the current compare experience in PowerPoint app. We’d sincerely recommend you share your valuable feedback via Help > Feedback to send request for the feature within the app. Feedback submit by this way directly goes to the related team, this would be the best way to let PowerPoint developers know your requirement and comments, help improve the product for you and others.

Meanwhile, please also consider sharing you feedback in PowerPoint Feedback Community, the Product Team is in-charge of the feedback site, and they are constantly checking the comments and feedback from our customer. Many features have been developed or improved based on users' comment.

We will also keep this thread open, community members who have similar experience are welcome to share insights and suggestions here.

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation! Hope you keep safe and healthy always.

Thanks, is there a VBA alternative which I do not really to use but the benefits outweighs human error especially for urgent situations? Adobe Export and Compare has taken me more than half an hour to document Revisions for co-workers.
