Permanently deleting a MS List

Question

I have a List created in a Private Teams Channel within my organisation.

The list contains sensitive project information that I will need to completely delete when the project is finalised.

Once I delete the list and associated Channel, is the data gone?

I have checked retention policy on the list and there doesn't seem to be any.

What do I need to do to ensure the List and it's content is not retrievable in any way after being deleted?

I understand your concern and would like to convey that. No, if you delete the channel data, it will still be recoverable intend of deleting channel you can delete the list by following the steps below. ( note this method will permanently delete the data )

Please go to the SharePoint private site that contains the list >> go to the site content>> select the list you want to delete >> After deletion please go to the recycle bin and delete the list from the first stage recycle bin and second stage recycle bin.

Then you can delete the channel and (note that files will be not recoverable anymore)

And can you please confirm whether this data is retained by Microsoft in any way once it has been deleted from both recycle bins?
