Bug? Microsoft Bookings Email verification code is sent twice

Im pretty excited by Microsoft Bookings. But there is a bug that I can't fix.

When a booking is made, the user must verify themselves via email. That's how it should be and I deliberately set it that way. But the user receives the email from Microsoft with the verification code twice. Have I set something wrong or is this due to a bug in Microsoft Bookings?
