When I try and open an excel file in the browser from one of my sharepoint sites, it hangs and won't open the file in the browser.

I have multiple sites for my organization. One of the sites is having issues with Excel files opening in the browser. I am able to open Word documents in the browser without an issue. I am able to open the same Excel file in the Excel app, without an issue. Here are the things I have tried:

I have checked the settings in the Library settings - the default behaviour is to open in browser.

I have checked the version of the files - opened in the app and did a save as.

I have uploaded a new excel file to see if it would open - it did not.

I have done a "copy link" and opened a new tab and pasted the link, and the excel file opens in the browser just fine.

I have asked other users to try opening the file in the browser and they can not.

I have verified that I can open excel files in the browser in other Sharepoint sites.

I have tried opening in Chrome and Edge - neither work.

Below is a screenshot of the file attempting to open. There is no error message. It just stays on this page.

Thank you
