Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hello Sreeja Sen**,**
Good day! Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft community.
No, it is not possible to renew Office 365 licenses before their expiration date.
But there are some steps where you do not need to do it manually. after license expiration, it will renew automatically.
This way it will be more convenient for you and the company. If the licenses are renewed early, the new term typically begins when the current term ends, so they won’t lose any time by renewing early.
Here are the general steps your customer would need to follow:
- Sign in to the Office 365 admin center using an account with administrative privileges.
- Navigate to the "Your Product" section.
- Locate the "Subscription" you wish to renew and select it.
- Now under "Subscription and payment settings" you will find an option "Recurring billing" > Edit recurring billing.
- Turn On this function.
- Please note: the user must have to be a Global administrator and a Billing administrator.
- Also, the user who brought the license at the first place, only he can edit "Recurring billing".
- Please check blow screenshots for reference.
