Workaround to Get Data from SharePoint folder

Hello all,

My company has provided all users with the Microsoft 365 Apps for Business, which does not support the Get Data -> From File -> From SharePoint folder option.

Is there a workaround for this that doesn't include using a Sync'd OneDrive account?

I am currently using the Get Data -> From File -> From Folder option and have directed the Source to my OneDrive account which has sync'd the SharePoint folder I need, but this includes the string format of e.g. "C:\Users[myname]\CompanySharePointName\SiteName - Documents\FolderName" as the Source in Power Query.

This is fine for me, but several other members of staff will be using the Excel spreadsheet and this will presumably fall over for them if they try and refresh the data from their laptops.

I'm told that I cannot upgrade to Enterprise... Is there a workaround I can use?

Any help much appreciated :-)

Thanks.

Yes, other users with Apps for Business can still refresh the data if you set up the queries using the SharePoint folder option. The Enterprise subscription allows you to share data sources with users who have different licenses, including Apps for Business.

No, this is limited by subscription. You may refresh the data yourself and other ones can use your refreshed data.

    Thanks for replying.

    That's a shame though.

If I were to have the Enterprise subscription and set up the queries using the SharePoint folder option, could other users using Apps for Business still be able to refresh the data?
