EUREKA- Turns out there's a toggle in Settings/ Privacy&Security / Extensions /Sharing... the Spark app needs to be checked.

Thanks for your help, friends. Hope others who encounter this problem benefit from our exchange.

Upgraded to Word 16.85, restarted, still no sign of Spark in the drop-down to send a doc. weird. On my laptop running Sonoma 14.4 and word 16.84 it works like a charm...

    Thanks for your help!

Your version of Office is behind on updates. Version 16.85 is the current release. See if updating followed by a restart of the Mac resolves the issue.

    Thanks so much.

The email app is SPARK, and the thing works beautifully on my other desktop and Macbook.

    It's Sonoma 14.5 with Word 16.78.

When I set Apple Mail as the default, that does get included in the send-a-document drop-down. But not Spark, although that is an option on my other devices.

Which email client are you using? It may not be supported. Word uses what is set as the default email program in Apple's .Mail.app Settings.

If that doesn't help put things right please provide complete & accurate details including the specific Version Number & License type of your Office software.
