Issue after downloading Microsoft 365. I keep getting these two pop-ups, first from one drive, then almost immediately after a pop-up in front of it from Apple instructing me to sign into my apple acct so it can sync with my laptop one drive. So, I sign in, get a verification code. It buffers forever, and then tells me to sign in again. Been going on for over 2hrs. The process keeps repeating itself, like it's stuck in loop. Help. I can't get any thing done, It won't stop.

    Dear Sandra,

Welcome to the Microsoft Community! Here, we will do our best to offer assistance to Microsoft users.

I understand that you seem to be experiencing circular login issues on your Mac computers, specifically an infinite loop of OneDrive and Apple ID login requests after attempting to install Microsoft 365.

We fully understand the inconvenience this has caused you and we apologize for this.

This could be due to a number of factors including, but not limited to, authentication conflicts, synchronization issues, or system setup errors. Here are some steps that may work to resolve the issue and hopefully help you out:

    Restart your computer:

**** First, try restarting your Mac computer, sometimes a simple reboot can resolve temporary system issues.

    Check OneDrive settings:

    • Open System Preferences, find OneDrive and check its synchronization settings.
    • If the problem is related to OneDrive synchronization, try to pause or stop OneDrive synchronization and then restart the synchronization service.

    Reset OneDrive

    • If the above steps don't work, try logging out of your OneDrive account completely and then logging back in. There should be an option to log out in OneDrive preferences.

    Check Apple ID sign-in status:

    • Troubleshoot Apple server issues by confirming that your Apple ID is logging in properly on other devices or web pages.
    • Log in to your Apple ID account page (appleid.apple.com) and check if there are any security settings or secondary verifications that need to be completed.

Disclaimer: Microsoft provides no assurances and/or warranties, implied or otherwise, and is not responsible for the information you receive from the third-party linked sites or any support related to technology.

Please try the above options first and let us know any result at any time, your reply will determine our next step.

    Best regards,
