Duplicate Excel with Forms

I have created an online Excel and insert in this also a Forms, which plays its results directly into the Excel. This Excel is basically a template, which is then to be copied for various projects. However, when I copy the online Excel, it does not also copy the form, but the form is lost in the copy and I have to create a new one. Is there a solution for this? Many thanks

There is no such way to do it in Microsoft Forms.

You may try other functions, such as power query, formula etc. to get data from forms response to Excel table.

Thank you for your answer. The problem here is that I have to format the Excel table for a usable representation of the results. With your approach, I have to reformat the Excel table every time, which is not an alternative in terms of effort. The solution I need is to copy the template of the Excel table.

After you duplicate forms, then you can open results in Excel. Duplicate forms will not show previous response.

Hey, many thanks for your reply.

When I copy the form, the Excel in which the answers are displayed is not also copied. only a new empty Excel can be created. This is of course somewhat impractical for use.

Even if I copy the Excel and the form separately, they are of course no longer linked.

Would be very practical if there was a solution for this

If you create a form from Excel Online, there is no way to duplicate it.

You may need to create form from Microsoft form, then you can duplicate forms.
