Date Format changing for Embedded Chart

I am UK based developer that has an excel spreadsheet stored in our company sharepoint. That Excel spreadsheet has a number of PivotCharts created using automatically populated table data. The x-axis of most of these charts is a date (usually the first of every month); when I view this PivotChart on Excel Online via Sharepoint, I can see the dates are in the correct UK format dd-MM-yyyy. And I have changed the default local for all dates in the spreadsheet to English (United Kingdom).
These Charts are then embedded into an Angular SPA using an embed URL and an iframe; but on the Angular app, the dates are showing up as the US format (MM-dd-yyyy). I cannot see any settings in either Excel Online or on the Angular SPA to alter this format.
According to official MS documentation, there is no extra parameters that I can add to the URL to enforce this date format, and everything looks as it should on Excel Online.
Using the inspector in the Angular SPA, the chart just seems to be a still image, so I cannot even manipulate the dates manually. If there is any settings Excel Online, Sharepoint or even via Angular that would change this to the correct format, I'd greatly appreciate it

    Dear Aidan McConville,

    Good day!!

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. It sounds like the date format is not being carried over correctly when the PivotChart is embedded into your Angular SPA.

Since we mainly focus on general and built-in features in SharePoint Online, consider that this issue may need to further customize iframe code on Angular app, to make sure you get the dedicated assistance, I sincerely recommend you post your concern to the dedicated channel **** Microsoft Q&A Community with SharePoint tag. Members and engineers over there are proficient in the knowledge of SharePoint customization and development queries. They will focus on the specific situation on your side and provide specific suggestions for you.

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation! Hope you keep safe and healthy always.

    Sincerely,

    Tina | Microsoft Community Moderator
