    Hi,pankaj sesodia

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

    Understanding that your Excel is not working properly, what exactly is the problem you are experiencing? It is recommended that you can provide us with more specific details or screenshots of the error report so that we can better understand your problem.

    Usually, most of the problems that Excel can't work properly can be solved by the following programs, you can try the following steps:

    1) Open Excel in safe mode

    Press Windows +R, type: excel /safe and then enter to open into the safe mode confirmation of the Excel program to see the problem.

    2) Reset Excel

    1. Exit all Office programs
    2. Make sure there are no files in the following folder:
    • Locate to C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART and press enter to see if the file exists, if it does, delete it, and if it doesn't, close it;
    • Locate C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\XLSTART or C:\Program Files(x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\XLSTART to see if the file exists, if it does. Again, please delete it, if not, close it;
    1. Hold down the Windows key + R at the same time, type regedit and press Enter;
    2. Locate the following keys in order to rename the word folder (right click on it and select rename, for example rename Excel to Excelold); HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Excel HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Excel
    3. After performing the above actions, review the issue.

    If you have further updates or any other questions, please feel free to contact us and look forward to hearing from you.

    Best wishes

    I paid $99 again this year for the Microsoft 365. Last year at the top left corner of my excel program was a little floppy disc icon that would allow me to save my work. Now that little floppy disc icon has disappeared. And I do not have the go-back arrows or the go forward arrows that allows me to make a change when editing my spreadsheets. That feature also use to be in the top left corner of my spreadsheets when excel is open. These features are no longer. Why is that? I need those features. How did the program change and when?
