Microsoft Booking question

We have just started using Microsoft booking, and we have a question from a user that we don't have an answer to. Prior to setting up her booking calendar, she's been manually scheduling appointments with her clients. So, in her Outlook calendar, she already has a lot of appointments that she set up, and in it, she put in a 5 to 15-minute buffer time, so her meeting in her calendar is showing 45 min. or 35 min. appointment. so when she put in 30 min. increment in her booking calendar, the free time that the client sees from the booking calendar is at odd timing.. for instance, 2:55 or 3:25, (instead of 3PM or 3:30PM) etc, instead of rounding it up? We try adjusting the buffer time and time increment time in the default scheduling policy but have had no luck. I am wondering if others have this issue and how you resolved it.

    Dear FlipCity,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

Based on your description,  I understand that you are experiencing an issue with the time increments in Microsoft Booking. Please understand that this query is outside of our support boundaries, we are support for Exchange Online.

After our initial research on our side, we did not find much information that could fix your issue, for you to be assisted properly, please reach out to Microsoft Bookings - Microsoft Community Hub; I am sure that our experts from that team can address your query effectively and accurately.

In the meantime, to address this issue, you may want to adjust the time increments in the booking policy to match the buffer time that was set up in the Outlook calendar. For example, if the buffer time is set to 5 minutes, you may want to set the time increment to 35 minutes instead of 30 minutes. Additionally, you may want to check the time zone settings in both the Outlook calendar and the booking calendar to ensure that they are set correctly.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Please do not hesitate to post your queries in Microsoft Community and we will always do our best to assist you!
