I have a business license and I am the admin and have assigned the licence already so this is not the issue.

    Dear respected Hannah,

Good day! Welcome to the Microsoft community.

As per the description, it seems like you have subscribed Copilot but it is not showing the button in desktop versions of Office apps like Excel, Word. If my understanding is correct, here are few details we would like to confirm with you.

Firstly, if you are using the work account, may I know if you have subscribed the related Copilot for Microsoft 365 license? As mentioned in the official article: Microsoft Copilot | Microsoft AI **** Note that the Copilot Pro subscription is for personal accounts.

Then, to use Copilot in Office apps, it needs the administrator of organization to deploythe license for users: Copilot for Microsoft 365 Setup Guide | Microsoft Copilot

If the Copilot icon still doesn't appear in the Office apps on your side after confirming these above, we appreciate your understanding that sometimes the initial reply may not resolve the situation very soon. However, please share back with more information so we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation.

Feel free to come back with us if there have anything else I can do for you, and we will offer the further support as much as we can.I appreciate your time and effort on checking these above and thank you for your patience and cooperation. I hope that you are keeping safe and well!

    Sincerely,
