OneDrive embed code not working ("src=0")

After selecting the embed option on a OneDrive file and clicking "Customize how this embedded workbook will appear to others" the code generated in the new window breaks the connection to my file leaving the src reference as "src=0".

This happened two months ago, I reached out to Microsoft Support and received no response back, and then scoured the web for a solution to no avail. I battled it for three weeks before one day it magically started working again and generated the correct src code. Now I have to update the file on my website and it is back to glitching again and reading "src=0".
