Microsoft Excel recording macro doesn't save

A colleague of mine wants to record a macro in Microsoft Excel 365 versions 2404, built: 17531.20140, but is unable to, because she gets a very generic error message that says "Something went wrong. The script cannot be saved. There has been an unexpected error while generating and saving the script. Try again."

Things I've done:

  • Updated Microsoft Office
  • Enabled all macro's
  • Saved the file as an Excel sheet with macro's enabled
  • Rebooted the machine
  • Repaired Office
  • Tested it on my machine, works fine (though, it takes incredibly long, but that's okay)

No matter what I do, I keep getting this error and I can't resolve it. Is there something that you guys know that I can do?

P.S. The error message is in Dutch, but I translated it in the above bold text.
