Joining 2 Dataverse Tables

We are trying to perform a join operation between 2 tables present in Dataverse in order to fetch relevant columns from the second table based on a common identifier column between the tables. We followed a approach using Dataflows and created a merge query between the two tables and selected the columns to be fetched. However the Dataflow is not getting published and it just says publish failed without any error message or details. Can anyone please help us with a solution for this or suggest any other approach to perform the join between two Dataverse tables?
