Printing specific lines of an Excel page

Our shopping list is on Excel, and it is currently six pages long. I list all the items that anyone in the family would like me to buy on my weekly shopping trip. They enter the quantity desired in the first (far left) column. They all have access to the same "master" list, and make entries as they desire.

Is there a simple way for me to print a much shorter shopping list of only the rows that have a numerical quantity in the far left column, rather than me printing the entire six page list?

Yes, we have tried the various "store" methods, and everybody still prefers the old Excel list!

Thank you for your thoughts and advice.

    Hi Craig Wiedder,

Thanks for your post in Microsoft Community.

Based on your description, it seems like that you want to know how to print only one of the specific rows in Excel, we can fully understand your distress and will do everything we can to help you.

As the issue may be related to printing in Excel, therefore you may please perform the following steps to change a few settings:

    1. Select the specific rows you want to print.
    2. Click on Page Layout in the Ribbon above.
    3. Click on Print Area and select Set Print Area.
    4. Click on File.
    5. Click on Print.
    6. Click on Settings.
    7. Select Print Selection.

Now Excel should only print the part of the sheet that you have selected and you can preview this print on the right-hand side of the page. If you have further questions, please feel free to contact us!

Thanks for your cooperation and understanding. I hope that you are keeping safe and well!

    Best Regards,
