Error: AADSTS90072

I was able to access my excel file yesterday. Today I went into Microsoft and updated my billing card and now I cannot access my excel file.

This is the error I receive:

AADSTS90072: User account '___@___.___' from identity provider 'live.com' does not exist in tenant 'B. F. Saul Co.' and cannot access the application 'd3590ed6-52b3-4102-aeff-aad2292ab01c'(Microsoft Office) in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Sign out and sign in again with a different Azure Active Directory user account

I have a personal 365 account. I do not understand why the error is referencing my old company 'B. F. Saul Co.' I have not been with that company in over 2 years and have been able to access my file on my personal laptop for years. This makes no sense.

    Hi Jim,

That did not work. I cleared license history and logged back in. I received the same error and this message "You do not have permission to open this workbook."

I do not understand how I don't have permission when I just accessed it yesterday.

    Thanks,

    Regina
