Microsoft Forms Locked

I have a Microsoft Form that I have added collaborators to. When they go and review the results specific the pictures that were submitted via Forms it says access denied and then I have to approve their access. When I went and looked at their collaboration status it says view and edit.

I notice that this type of issue was posted before and support had them upload screenshots. Not sure if I am having the exact same issue...

    Dear Donald Del Nero,

    Good day!!

Apologies for the inconvenience caused and please don’t worry, let’s work together on your concern and move towards a resolution path.

As per the description shared, I understand your concern and I would like to confirm that the collaborators of the Form are getting the Access Denied error when they try to access the pictures uploaded by the responders of the Form.

If yes, I would like to explain that when you add a Upload File Type question to the Form, there will be a folder created with the name of the Upload File Type question under the location based on the Form created:

If the Form is created in your Microsoft Forms (https://forms.office.com), the folder will be created in your OneDrive at the following locations: Apps> Microsoft Forms> Folder with the Form Name> Folder with the Upload File Type question name.

If the Form is created in your Group Forms, then the folder will be created in the default document library of the SharePoint Online site: Default Document Library of the SharePoint Online site associated with the Group> Apps> Microsoft Forms> Folder with the Form Name> Folder with the Upload File Type question name.

So, the Collaborators will not have access to the Folder which was created when the Upload File Type question is created and to make Collaborators to access the uploaded files to the Forms without access denied error, please follow the below steps:

Go to the location of the folder with the Form name> Right-click on the Folder with the Form name> Share> Click on Settings beside Copy Link> Select People you choose> Click Apply> Enter the Collaborators email addresses> Click on Send.

Now when the Collaborators try to access the uploaded files by the responder, they won’t receive Access Denied error because you have given access to the folder with the uploaded files.

If there is any misunderstanding from our end, we apologize and request you to share the more detailed information with some screenshots which will help us to better understand and guide you further.

Appreciate your patience and understanding. Have a great day!!

    Best Regards,

    Sophia
