Issues with Microsoft logging into wrong email address after entering user details and password

I want to open sharepoint documents sent to my email address. After I enter my email and password from my gmail in the microsoft pop-up box to log in it goes to authenticate using my old email address - which cant access the docs as it doesnt have permission . How do I change this please

    Good day! Thank you for posting in our community. Your question is "Issues with Microsoft logging into wrong email address after entering user details and password".

    This happens because the old account information was cached on the browser. Please try clearing browser cache or opening the link from incognito/inprivate window.

    Clear cache:
    Click "settings" in browser >> search for "cache" >> choose what to clear >> clear now

    Open incognito window/inprivate window:
