Hi
I seem to be getting the below error when trying to import an excel file to MS Access:
An error occurred trying to import file

To troubleshoot this, I would create a new super-simple test file in Excel with a few columns and rows of data. Import that. Works? Then the issue is with your data file. Same error? Then the issue is with your installation of Access and you would run an Office Repair from Control Panel.
Does this happen with any Excel file or only particular ones?
