I tried to create a new document and using insert field, type a R and give the path and name of the document. after that doing all documents, but it cant open the documents to create the TOC.

Hope someone can help me with this problem, Also I don't know how to update the old TOC.

    Hi Charles,

Correct I used it for all documents, but it don't work.

Thats also how I created it some years ago, but I also can't change the names and paths of the existing documents.

You should be able to edit the RD fields or create new ones to the existing documents.

What you may be looking for is the RD field.
