Export option not showing in MS Planner on web

Hi I recently started trialling MS Planner to replace Trello and this was based off a few threads showing screenshots of a three dot 'more' button that allowed you to export your plan to excel - but I do not see this on Teams or in the Web App. Has this feature been removed?

    Dear respected Yasmin Howell,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

As per your description, please don’t worry, we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation.

Firstly, may I know are you using Microsoft Team tab? please note there is no built-in feature within Tasks Planner tab in Teams group which can export tasks. We apologize for the inconvenience caused.

We may need going to Planner home page https://tasks.office.com/, in Hub, find the name of your Tasks Planner, open it, click the 3 dots from ribbon and then click Export plan to Excel. (as shown below)

Based on my test result, it seems I cannot meet the problem as like you described above. Here is my test screenshot when I click on plan header, select the three dots (…), then I choose Export plan to Excel.

First, could you please try to sign out and sign back in to see if there's any difference.

Also, please try another browser or use In-private browser to open your problematic planner task and verify the result with us.

Please try to access this link https://tasks.office.com/> Click on Planner Hub> All Plans> Click on the Plan>click on planner to open and then you will see "..." to check if Export to Excel workbook available.

Meanwhile, to narrow down your problem could you please confirm does the problem happened to specific Microsoft planner task? Also, please confirm does another use meet the same behavior in your organization.

Are you sign-in Microsoft planner using Microsoft personal account or Office 365 business(work/school) account?

Please understand that our initial reply may not always immediately resolve the issue. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

I'm sorry and I apologize for that.

Appreciate your patience and understanding and thank you for your time and cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    Waqas Muhammad

Thank you, I tried making another plan but with a group assigned (I didn't assign a group before because I just wanted to test it out) and the three dot option appeared!
