Microsoft Forms Branching

Hi all! I had a question regarding Microsoft Forms and specifically the Branching feature. Each time I put in branching for a question, it only shows the questions up until that point. Only when the question is answered will the next questions (until the next branching question) appear. I would like for the whole form to show up and then the relevant questions to extend down if necessary. Is this possible? Thanks!

    Hi Jackie,

Thanks for posting in the community. We are happy to help you.

Regarding your question, it is possible, however, it may not meet your needs. You will need to reorder your questions and use sections to manage them. Here are the steps.

    1. Reset all Branching options.

Add Branching, click the three dots next to "Branching options", Reset.

    1. Add a section and move all non-branching questions (not including branch-generating questions) to Section 1. For example, Question 2's options redirect to two branch questions, so Qustion 2 cannot be placed in Section 1.
    2. Move all branching questions and branch-generating questions to other sections.
    3. Add branching again.

Sorry for the inconvenience that happened to you. Appreciate your understanding and patience.

    Sincerely,

    George | Microsoft Community Moderator
