Relationship ERROR spam

Hi, I had to change an ID in MS Access data type to Short Text, so a message appeared saying this: You can't change the data type or field size of this field; it is part of one or more relationships. if you want to change the data type of this field, first delete its relationships in the relationships window. And now whenever i try changing the relationship to Short Text it keeps spamming this You can't change the data type or field size of this field; it is part of one or more relationships. if you want to change the data type of this field, first delete its relationships in the relationships window. even though i have done it a lot of times. and i have an access exam on Wednesday and Tuesday so if anyone could help that would be great.

PS has the database been corrupted and i need to start again.

Open the Relationships diagram and remove all tables.

Put your table on it.
Click on "Direct Relationships" in the ribbon.

That should show you all relations to the table, so you can delete them.

Spam is unsolicited commercial mail. Or a luncheon meat. This is an error messages telling you that you are trying to do something the design of your application won't permit. To remove the message fix the design error.
