MS Project - Problem with completed task showing as 'late' on the project status line.

Hi All,

I'm hoping someone may have a solution for me.

I am reviewing a MS project program and the project status line is still attached to completed tasks. As such, ALL completed tasks are showing as 'late'.

I'm at a loss of how to detach the completed tasks from the project status line.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

JB

    Jayson,

Thanks for the screenshot. My suggestion, don't use progress lines.

Others may have a different view, and I am sure that I disagree with youtube videos and any documentation by MS about this, but I think that these progress lines are useless and uninformative, as well as misunderstood and misleading, not to mention a waste of time and they clutter up the chart.

It's been well known around the traps for a long time.

    I appreciate your reply Trevor.

I've attached a screen shot showing the status/ progress line that is still attached/ linked to a completed task.

I'm at a loss as how to release the status/ progress line from a completed task.

    Thanks again,

    Jayson
