Participant Maximum

Hello,

I have embedded some questions using Microsoft Forms into a presentation. The hope is that I will present them and participants will respond, and I will be able to show answers in real time. I am worried about reaching a participant maximum during my presentation. I've read a few different answers on these forums so I am not confident. I called my corporation's IT desk and they were unsure what our license permits. Please confirm what the maximum number of participants will be on a quiz on Microsoft forms at any given time.

Thanks,

Ashley

    Hello Ashley.

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

I understand that you have a question about the maximum number of responses that can be collected by Microsoft Forms, which is related to your current account subscription type.

You mentioned that you tried contacting your company's IT staff to confirm the issue, so can I assume that the account you used to create the form has a Microsoft 365 Business Edition subscription plan?

Microsoft Forms has different limits on the number of responses for different subscription types.

Microsoft Forms is free for any user, while free users can collect up to 200 responses, and for paid accounts, up to 1,000 responses. Therefore, you may want to check if the account you are using has a Microsoft 365 subscription.

For more information about the limitations of Microsoft Forms for different types of users, you may refer to: Form, question, response, and character limits in Microsoft Forms - Microsoft Support

Hope the above information is helpful for you.

    Best Regards
