Custom form in SharePoint List, created in Power Apps, is not working.

I have a SharePoint List that I customized the form using Power Apps. When I click on New Item or double click an item it opens in the side panel, not using the custom form I created via Integrate > Power Apps > Customize forms. I have saved and published my custom form and cleared my cache and clicked out of the browser, but it is still not working. This is the first time I have tried creating a custom form. Also, I am using Edge Browser Version 124.0.2478.67. And I have set the Form settings for the list to 'Use a custom form created in PowerApps'. I have also checked all the permissions.

I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. Please help!

    Hi Denise,

Thanks for posting in the community. We are happy to help you.

According to your description, I suggest you check the List settings. In the list, Settings> List Settings> Form settings. Make sure that the "Use a custom form created in PowerApps" option is ticked.

    • If not, please tick the option, click OK, and then check again.
    • If so, some users mentioned that re-enabling the option solved the problem. So, I suggest you tick "Use the default SharePoint form", click OK, refresh the page, tick the "Use a custom form created in PowerApps" option again, and click OK. After that, please check again.

If the above suggestions don't help, it may be related to the Power Apps form. Since we have a specific channel Microsoft Power Apps Community coping with Power Apps questions, I recommend you post a new thread there for expert help.

    Appreciate your understanding and patience.

    Sincerely,

    George | Microsoft Community Moderator

I have the same problem and this solution also did not work for me. It only loads the default form, never the Power App form.

We are facing the same issue. I've opened a ticket with MSFT support and we'll see what they have to say.
