Hi,
I just bought a new Onedrive plan because I wanted to switch from Google Drive to OneDrive for the flexibility of link sharing, but right out of the gate I'm disappointed because of these issues:
The option to limit file downloads in OneDrive link sharing is not available. I can only see two options, "can edit" and "can view". This is very important for me to disable the download option when I share a folder.
(I can't even upload a small screenshot here, I get an error! You must be kidding me Microsoft!!)
The second problem is: when I click on the share icon or access management, the screen turns white and I have to refresh the web page. This is also very annoying.
I have this plan: Microsoft 365 Basic
If this is not included in my plan, I find it very unprofessional of Microsoft not to make this clear before purchase!
Thanks for the help.

Hello there,
Please note: This is a user-to-user community forum. We are users just like you who help others. We are not employees or support from Microsoft. However I hope the following solutions I provide can assist you:
Limiting File Downloads in OneDrive Link Sharing: The "can edit" and "can view" options control the level of access users have (viewing or editing files), but they do not restrict downloading,
1)However, you can block downloads for view-only files in SharePoint and OneDrive through the steps below:
1.1)Find the file you want to share in OneDrive or SharePoint, and select the circle in the upper corner.
1.2)Select Share at the top of the page.
1.3)Select Anyone with the link can edit to open Link settings.
1.4)Uncheck Allow editing, and then turn on Block download.
1.5)Add your message and send the invite. Recipients will see a message indicating they can view, but not download the file.
These following steps was referenced and taken from the following source and for further clarification please visit: https://support.microsoft.com/office/6051184b-62ac-4149-b874-13dcd40ef91e
2)Share Icon or Access Management Turning Screen White: This is most likely a browser/internet related issue than a OneDrive issue and below are some steps to overcome this
2.1)Clear your browser's cache and cookies, then restart the browser and try again. 2.2)Try accessing OneDrive from a different browser or device to see if the issue persists. 2.3)Ensure your internet connection is stable and not causing interruptions.
I hope the following solutions help you and should you have any further problems/concerns please do not hesitate to contact me again.
Thanks,
Parth P.
