Task Sequence: xxxxxxx has failed with error code (0x80070002) SCCM. However my machine will pxe boot successfully and appeared the task sequence wizard. We have https & pxe enabled DP. Which was working fine until the last day. The certificate’s expiry date is on 2025. So there should not any certificate error. There network account which is configured in the Software distribution proporties. Other applications/packages has been downloading and installing hence there should not be any network access issue.

Tried “Clear Required PXE Deployments” from Unknown Computers and try again. Still same issue.

could you help , how to resolve this problem127575-smstslog.png127622-smspxelog.png

    Hi, @Vij
Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

0x80070002 means the system cannot find the file specified.
May we know which step did you get the error?
First we may double check whether the network account works and valid.
Then, if this is an MDT integrated TS, make sure that the MDT settings and toolkit packages are good, may be remove them and re-add to DP.

Also, if the error is raised during Apply operating System, we can remove the selection "Access content directly from the distribution point" to see if it helps.
