Hello, I received an email from OneDrive on 7.May that the shared folder was removed. And the folder was disappeared.

I asked my administrator and he said nothing was touched, and other users still can see and access the shared folder.

I want to restore it.

Hello and thank you for your reply.

To better troubleshoot the error, can I ask if you are currently logged into OneDrive with a personal or business account? Are you using the Enterprise or Personal version of the app? Is it using the company's LAN?

And suggest the current creator of this shared folder to save this shared folder locally for backup. Then stop and delete sharing this file in OneDrive. And upload this folder backed up locally to OneDrive again and then re-share it to see if it can be shared successfully.

The information you shared will help us to resolve the issue faster, looking forward to your reply.

    Thanks for your reply

I found and tried to restore the shared folder in recycle bin.

But there were only folders left, no files.

Also, our creator tried to share the folders again. but the system said it is already shared.

    Hi  jaeho lee4.

Thanks for using Microsoft products and posting in the community.

I understand that you are having trouble on restoring shared folder in Onedrive, and I understand how you feel and will do my best to answer your questions.

Are you currently the creator of this shared folder? Only the creator of the shared folder can manage the shared folder, if other users can see this folder normally, it means the file has not been deleted by the creator, you can ask the creator of the shared folder to share the file link to you again.

And have you gone to the recycle bin to see if the file exists? If you find this file in Recycle Bin, please right click them and select "Restore". The file or folder will be restored to its original folder.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any further updates, thanks.

    Best Regards,
