I am running One Note v 16.84 on my iPad running 17.4.1. When I go to share to pdf or to print I don’t get a secondary screen to do anything with the page anymore. I used to be able to create pdf’s to share with my students but it isn’t working anymore. Any advice would be appreciated

    Hi Dave,

Thank you for contacting us! It is worth noting that we here are customers just like yourself and will do the best we can to help resolve the issue you are experiencing on One Note while using your iPad.

It appears that you're having some annoying problems on your iPad when it comes to sharing to PDF or printing using OneNote. You can attempt the following troubleshooting procedures to fix this issue:

OneNote update: Verify that your device is running the most recent version of the OneNote application. Updates for your app may occasionally include bug fixes and enhancements that fix problems similar to the one you're having.

Device Restart:: Attempt to restart your iPad. On occasion, this can fix brief bugs and update the app's features.

Clear Cache: Try wiping the OneNote app's cache on your iPad. Go to Settings > OneNote > Clear Cache to accomplish this.

Verify Storage Space: Ensure that your devices have adequate storage space available. Apps can act strangely when there is not enough storage.

You might be able to fix the problems you're having on your iPad when trying to share PDF's or print via OneNote by following the steps I provided. If not, then your next best option for receiving individualized support if the issue continues is to get in touch with Microsoft Support.

    I hope this helps!

    Best regards,

    Shannah
