Microsoft Lists - Bulk copy paste via Grid mode

Question

Hello,
I am using Lists and have the following problem when trying to copy paste in Grid mode.

Normally I would like to copy paste around 100 items/lines in total. However, this was not working and I thought maybe the items were too many so I reduced. Long story short it still happens even if I just copy paste 1-2 lines.

See the image attached. A rotating circle appears in the left side of the table, as it would do to indicate the time needed to paste, notwithstanding, it stays like that forever.

Moreover the whole window seems like frozen now. I am not able to press "exit grid mode button" as it does not do anything and I can only refresh the page from the browser.

Surprisingly, when I refresh the page from the browser I see that 1 new item (first in order of pasting) has been added. This happens regardless of how many items I paste. I can paste 2, 3, 10 or more, the same result: it loads forever, it does not respond to any other actions and when I refresh the page from the browser only 1 new item has been pasted.

I will further help you.

I just finished tests in Microsoft List. I tested in Chrome browser and it worked fine for me, I can copy several lines and paste them in Grid View.

Does this issue happen in different browsers? Which browser are you using? Could you try a different browser (Edge, Chrome) and let me know the result?

May I know if this issue happens in a specific list or different lists?
