Hello,

I installed Microsoft 356 a couple of months ago. Now suddenly my Excel is not working anymore, I need to activate my account. When I click on the button of “Activate” nothing happens!

For PowerPoint I get the same notification. For Word I don’t get this notification.

I got my license in March and it should work for a whole year.

Could anyone help?

    Hello, Indyvb.

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

I understand that you are currently experiencing an inability to activate office applications such as Excel. I would like to confirm more information with you so that I can more accurately determine the issue you are experiencing:

    • Is there any specific error code or message you are describing about Excel suddenly not working? Recently there was a hot issue related to license activation (error code 29) and you can share a screenshot of the specific error message with me.

In addition, based on the limited information you described above, it is recommended that you may try the following Office license removal actions before replying, which may lead to unexpected progress:

Feel free to share updates with me on how things are progressing after you've completed the aforementioned steps. Should you have any questions or require clarification, do not hesitate to reach out to me. I‘d like to do my utmost to assist you.

    Best Regards,
