Can't create Microsoft365 Subscription

I am trying to redeem a Microsoft365 subscription that I have purchased. When going through the subscription process I am presented with the following message:

Sorry, we can't create your subscription yet because you're currently using a Microsoft 365 subscription that someone shared with you. Before you can start your own subscription, please go toyour Microsoft accountand selectStop using this shared subscription. Then come back here and start a new subscription.

When I go to view my account there are no subscriptions there.

Please can you advise how I can activate this subscription please?

    2. Enter your question in the search box.
    3. Select Contact Support below (sign in to your Microsoft personal account).
    4. Under Category, select Manage my subscription.
    5. Go to Verify.
    6. Select Chat with a support agent or request a call.
