When I open Excel files from OneDrive in a browser, a message pops up stating, "This content presents a potential security issue. Do you trust this content?" Although I can open the file, this message appears every time I click on a file. I hope someone can assist me with resolving this issue.

Same thing began happening to my users this morning (7-31-24) as well. Whenever they open an Excel spreadsheet from SharePoint online, they get the same message every time. I found another forum post SharePoint/Excel - This content presents a potential security issue. Do you trust this content? - Microsoft Community Hub from today which included this excerpt:

HI, the problem only occurs when i open Excel files through OneDrive on web site. The files I opened before didn't have this problem. I have tried the suggested solutions, but they haven't worked. Could someone assist me with resolving this issue?
