SharePoint deleted my data !! Help!

A week after I paid my bill, SharePoint sent me a message over the weekend saying my account would be deleted for non pay. (payment already cleared my bank). Now they closed my account and are telling me my files are unrecoverable. Surely they don't purge the data completely. Anyone know how to get them to recover the data?
