hacking onedrive

hi

I suspect that my onedrive account on my personal mail address has been hacked on march 10th, around 8 pm

I got the request in word when working on a word file to register again (message below the taskbar in word which seemed genuine) after which I got a quick popup that by signing inI agreed to authorize aca.fr (didn't get to write down the full url) to have access to my files. This worried me so I checked recent files in windows explorer and saw that all kinds of files regarding my novel (I'm a writer) were being accessed and my manuscript downloaded. I changed pwd but too late I fear. An antivirus sweep and antispyware didn't find anything. Can you confirm that I've been hacked and what I need to do?

I'm writing this message on my work pc as I have the message "access denied - you don't have permission to access support microsoft on this server". on my personal laptop after several unsuccsful automatc attempts to connect

thanks for your help

    Hello,

    My name is Jackson and thank you for your question.

    I sincerely apologize for the issue you experience with your OneDrive account, I am a user myself and do not work for Microsoft so I understand how frustrating this is.

    If you think your account has been hacked, use the Microsoft interactive tool in the link below to guide you through the right steps to recover your account;

    https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/24ca907d-bcdf-a44b-4656-47f0cd89c245

    You can see when and where your account has been accessed including successful sign-ins, devices used, IP address and security challenges on the Recent activity page; https://account.live.com/activity

    We do not have control over the hackers activities however we can take measures to secure your account and make it difficult to hack. See tips to help keep your Microsoft account safe in the Microsoft link below;

    I will advise you try the Microsoft authenticator app option. The Microsoft Authenticator phone app not only adds another security layer to your Microsoft account, but it also lets you sign in to your account from your phone without a password but you’ll use a fingerprint, face recognition, or a PIN for security.

    See steps to setup and use the authenticator app in the link;

    Warm regards,
