In my company i have configured an environments using AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop). The configuration was performed allowing up to 10 simultaneous users.
As Host Sessions, i have configured Windows Server 2019.

****BUT, now i am receiving a notification like this:
"Remote Desktop Licensing model is not configured.
Remote Desktop Services will stop working in 86 days.On the RD Connection Broker server, use Server Manager to specify Remote Desktop...."

* Do I NEED TO BUY CAL LICENSES TO ACCESS SIMULTANEOUSLY FROM 10 users??
*
If the answer is YES, WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY TWICE FOR THE SERVICE... We are paying for the AVD and the rest of the environment.. and it is a lot!!!

THANKS IN ADVANCE

    @Manuel Angel Loureiro Mahia

    I have reached out to internal AVD team to cross check on your query.

    The RDS CAL clearly states within Microsoft Learn as needed for the operating system used by the end-users. Users should review if a server operating system is needed for this host pool or if they can use win10 multisession.

    If you use a Server operating system as host pool in AVD you have to build a RDS license server with CAL.
    If use use windows 10 or 7 it is included, so always try to prefer windows Client instead of windows server operating system.
