OneDrive doesn't allow sync shared third party folders

Since yesterday the OneDrive folder that was shared and synced with me only appears as a link. Opening it results in opening the browser not opening the synced folder. This is a major BUG! It used to work without any problems until now. I checked with friends, and they have the same problem!

Please help!

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

    We are aware of the issue and are working on resolving it. The url files will automatically convert back to folders when the issue is resolved. For now, we recommend accessing shared folders that are in this state on OneDrive.com.
